Step 2 Before you decide to apply for a visa please make sure you familiarize yourself with the information on the visa subclass you are applying for. Quick links to information on visa categories and other helpful information including Visa Fee, VFS Service Charge and Processing Time can be found on the Visa Wizard page on this website.
Step 3 Applicants should fill the Download Forms corresponding to the visa subclass under which they wish to lodge their application. Applicants can get the Download Forms by visiting the nearest New Zealand Visa Application Centre or by downloading the forms from Applications and Forms.
- Under the China Special Work Instructions for Chinese Chefs, there are only 200 places available at any one time. This means that when a visa granted under this category expires, a place becomes
available - this can happen at any time. Currently, only a few places remain available under this visa category.
If there are no places available when your application arrives at an Immigration New Zealand office, an immigration officer will be in contact with you.
