  • Information for Applicants planning to visit Visa Application Centre in China

    Starting from 22 September 2020, South Africa Visa Application Centre in China will be accepting applications. The Visa Application Centres in Beijing and Shanghai will operate from 09:00 to 12:00, Monday, Wednesday and Friday; The Visa Application Centre in Guangzhou will open from 09:00 to 12:00, Monday and Friday. Other locations will receive the applications upon prior appointment. Kindly schedule the appointments with the visa application centres via emails in advance. Thank you for your understanding

  • Important Notice to Shanghai Jurisdiction Applicants:

    1. All Long term visas(with valid dates) that were previously revoked, will now be reinstated to allow travelers to travel to South Africa from 1st Oct. 2020 onwards.
    2. For those applications that were submitted before lockdown, clients who wish to continue with travel, need to provide following:

      -- Short term (general): provide current valid documents such as invitations letters (where applicable), bank statements, accommodation and flight itineraries.

      --Short term (business / (11) (2)): to provide a new invitation letter from the inviting company.

      Those clients who no longer wish to travel, may submit withdrawal letters to have their passports returned to them.

    3. A Covid-19 test is to be done before departing although this is NOT a requirement for the visa application. Travelers’ will need to produce a negative COVID-19 test on arrival in South Africa. This test should not be older than 72 hours from the time of departure.
  • Information for Applicants planning to visit Visa Application Centre in Chongqing

    Starting 28 September 2020, Chongqing South Africa Visa Application Centre will be relocated to Room 6, 3F, Tower B, Reliance Center, No. 2 Xihu Zhi Road, Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing, 401147, China. The previous address will be no longer valid.
