The Embassy of Portugal in Beijing ，Consulate General of Portugal in Shanghai and Consulate General of Portugal in Guangzhou are pleased to announce that VFS Global has been authorized to open the Portugal Visa Application Centre in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Wuhan, Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Jinan, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Changsha, Chongqing and Kunming. This service is available for Chinese citizens and non-Chinese citizens legally residing in China who wish to apply for a Schengen visa to Portugal. This site provides details related to your application submission and collection process, along with other useful information.
Step 2 Before you decide to apply for a visa please make sure you familiarize yourself with the information on the visa subclass you are applying for. Quick links to information on visa categories and other helpful information including Visa Fee, VFS Service Charge and Processing Time can be found on the Visa Wizard page on this website.
Step 3 Applicants should fill the Visa Application Form corresponding to the visa subclass under which they wish to lodge their application. Applicants can get the visa application form by visiting the nearest Ireland Visa Application Centre or by downloading the forms from Applications and Forms.
Travel medical insurance
From now on travelers who plan to go to Portugal are requested to present a Negative Result of the RT/PCR test 72 hours before their boarding. The quarantine measures that are in place upon arrival to Portugal are not applicable to passengers from China.
Please be noted Portugal visa application centers in Guangzhou, Shenzhen,Fuzhou and Changsha will be closed on 5 April 2021 due to Tomb Sweeping Holiday.Visa application submission, passport collection and call centre enquiry service will not be available at Portugal visa application centre. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Starting 08 March 2021, Fuzhou Portugal Visa Application Centre will be relocated at Floor 4, Sanmu Mansion, No.93 Qunzhong Dong Road, Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China. The previous address will no longer be valid.

Increased fees for visa applications
Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalent.
